Tools for Therapy & Conversation Pieces
Tools for Therapy is a basic set of a round playfield, a set of crayons and bluestone cubes and cylinders that help to visualize feelings when words are not enough. Arranging the neutral objects on the round board, makes it easier to explain feelings or situations like family setting for example. The crayons can be used to add an extra layer with colors and connections.
Conversation Pieces are twelve objects that all have their own identity. They offer something to hold on during therapy sessions: in addition to finding the right words, you could also try to find the right object. They all fit in the palm of your hand, but each has its own material and shape, referring to various psychological themes and archetypes. A soft round leather shape could stand for loving or smothering care, a rubber string for flexibility or even sneakiness. Feeling their weight and structure addresses the subconscious and helps to get to the heart of the matter in an intuitive way.
