Angus Livingstone serves as the Valorization Director for the Oncode Institute, a new Dutch foundation that brings together some the Netherlands' top scientists in a new, world class institute that strengthens the best fundamental cancer research and drives scientific breakthrough.
Angus brings his 30 years experience at The University of British Columbia in translating academic research for social and economic benefit to the Netherlands. He has played critical roles in the creation of many Canadian technology transfer and commercialization initiatives including: entrepreneurship@UBC; The Centre for Drug Research and Development; The Alliance for the Commercialization of Canadian Technology (ACCT) Canada; and, UBC's Global Access Licensing Principles.

Oncode Institute – A new model for cancer research in the Netherlands
Oncode is a newly formed, independent institute dedicated to understanding cancer and translating research into practice. Oncode has brought over 40 leading oncology researchers from nine institutions across the Netherlands under a common research strategy and complemented that with dedicated valorization support to fulfill our goal: outsmarting cancer, impacting lives.
