During his PhD he developed new methods for the early evaluation of diagnostics to support investment and R&D decisions. He has many years of experience as a consultant to pharmaceutical and medical device companies. In addition, he published several papers in international peer reviewed journals in the field of health technology assessment and contributed on a number of scientific advisory panels.
