Elise Meijer

Professor Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Antwerp Management School & consultant, Accenture Strategy

Elise has over 16 years of both practical and academic experience in the field of (open) innovation and (corporate) entrepreneurship. She worked for the innovation unit of Monitor Deloitte (ex-Monitor group) and currently employed with Accenture Strategy. In particular, she focuses as a consultant on growth strategy with an emphasis on innovation strategy. Next to that, she is involved in innovation strategy implementation by accelerating and scaling innovation projects in the market.

Part-time she holds a position as a professor Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Antwerp Management School in Antwerp, Belgium. In this role she guides MBA students in setting up new ventures. Furthermore, she is co-founder of Vascobelo (www.vascobelo.be), which is a new innovative approach within the coffee industry. And Co-founder of Wash&Go, a full serviced laundry concept for students (www.washandgolaundry.nl).

She has a PhD in Industrial Engineering & Innovation Management of the Eindhoven University of Technology, and a PhD in Applied Economics of the University of Antwerp. She obtained a Masters in Industrial Engineering & Management Science of the Eindhoven University of Technology.
