Carmen van Vilsteren & Clemence Ross-van Dorp
Carmen van Vilsteren is Chair of the Top Sector Life Sciences & Health (LSH;Health~Holland). She has ample experience in the medical industry, at Philips and later as CEO and co-founder of Microsure. In her current role as director of the Strategic Area Health at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), she combines her knowledge of setting up innovation programmes and public-private partnerships with scientific research.
Clemence Ross-van Dorp is Ambassador for the action programme “New Opportunities for Top Sector Life Sciences & Health.” She is also chair of the Lung Alliance Netherlands. Furthermore, she is a director at the Agora Foundation and she holds various supervisory positions, for example at the University of Twente and the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology. Ross-Van Dorp was Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport from 2002 to 2007.
