Hilversum, 17 February 2020
On 12 February, 30 start-ups in the healthcare industry pitched their company, products and/or service to a jury of experts during the 7th edition of Innovation for Health and the 4th edition of the Global Investor Forum. The jury panels, composed of investors from Gilde Healthcare, Forbion, NightBalance, Innovation Quarter, Philips Health Technology Ventures, Nextgen Ventures and CbusineZ chose 9 of these start-ups to pitch during the main Innovation for Health conference on February 13.
The audience picked Healthy Mind, Iova and PharmaCytics as their top 3 pitchers and of these the jury chose PharmaCytics as the winner of the Axon Innovation for Health Award 2020, with Carine van den Brink of AXON Lawyers handing out the trophy to Han van ’t Klooster.
“As in previous years Innovation for Health & Global Investor Forum brought us a lot of exposure and many valuable insights and connections. We are very pleased with the recognition from both the investor panels and the audience for our technology and its perceived value to patients. We ‘re looking forward to turn many parenteral compounds into an oral variant for biopharma companies.” ~ Han Van ’t Klooster, CEO PharmaCytics
